Audit Logs for Enterprise admins: Track team membership and join request activity
Last updated: July 12, 2026
Available on: Web (Enterprise admin dashboard only)
Audit Logs give enterprise administrators a searchable history of team membership changes — who was added, who was removed, and how join requests were handled. Use it to monitor team access and review administrator actions across your organization.
What it is
The Audit Logs page is a dedicated section in the enterprise admin dashboard. It records key team membership events and lets you filter, browse, and review them in one place. Each entry captures what happened, when, who did it, and who was affected.
Audit Logs are available to enterprise administrators only. The data is also accessible programmatically via the enterprise API for organizations that want to pull logs into external tooling.
When to use it
Use Audit Logs when you want to:
Review who joined or left your Wispr Flow team and when
Check which administrator approved or rejected a join request
Investigate an unexpected membership change
Export or query membership history via the API for compliance or internal reporting
How it works in Flow
Overview
Every time a team membership event occurs — a member being added, a member being removed, or a join request being decided — Wispr Flow records a log entry. You can view and filter these entries from the Audit Logs page in the enterprise admin dashboard.
Key behaviors
Member added: Recorded when a user is added to the team.
Member removed: Recorded when a user is removed from the team.
Join request approved: Recorded when an admin approves a user's request to join the team.
Join request rejected: Recorded when an admin rejects a user's request to join the team.
Real-time logging: Entries appear as soon as the underlying action is completed.
What each entry shows
Each log entry includes the following fields:
Timestamp: The date and time the event occurred.
Action: The type of event (e.g., member added, join request rejected).
Actor: The administrator or system that performed the action.
Target: The user who was affected by the action.
Method: How the action was carried out (e.g., invitation, SCIM provisioning, removed by admin).
Filtering and pagination
Narrow down the log using these filters:
Date range: View events within a custom date range, up to 92 days at a time.
Event type: Filter to one or more of the four event types.
Actor: Show only events performed by a specific administrator.
Target: Show only events that affected a specific user.
Results are paginated. Use the pagination controls at the bottom of the page to move between pages.

FAQs
Who can access Audit Logs?
Only enterprise administrators can view the Audit Logs page. Team members without admin access will not see the Audit Logs entry in the sidebar.
How far back can I look?
You can filter by any date range up to 92 days at a time. To view events older than 92 days, shift your date range window and search again.
What does "method" mean in a log entry?
Method describes how the action was carried out — for example, whether a user was added via an email invitation, provisioned through SCIM, or removed manually by an administrator.
Can I access Audit Logs programmatically?
Yes. The same audit log data is available via the enterprise API. Contact your Wispr Flow account representative for API documentation and access details.
Will more event types be added in the future?
The current version covers four membership-related event types. Additional event types may be added in future updates to the enterprise dashboard.
