Team Insights: Measuring the Impact of Wispr Flow Rollout (Admin Usage Page)
Last updated: June 26, 2026
Available on: Wispr Flow admin web portal
Team Insights shows admins how their organization uses Wispr Flow — who's active, which apps they dictate into, and how much time and money the rollout is saving. Use it to measure adoption and report ROI to stakeholders.
What it is
Insights is an admin-only section of the Wispr Flow web dashboard. It surfaces four data areas plus a per-member table:
Words Dictated: Total words your team has dictated.
Team Members trends: Team-wide usage trends, such as active users.
Desktop Apps: Which apps your team is dictating into.
Impact: Estimated time saved and ROI, including AI Prompt Quality, Time Saved, and Money Saved cards.
Team members table: Per-member breakdown of usage, status, activity, and dictation speed.
When to use it
Use Insights when you want to:
Measure adoption after rolling Flow out to a team.
Identify which apps your team dictates into most.
Estimate time saved and ROI to share with stakeholders.
See individual member usage, status, and last activity at a glance.
Export team usage data for internal reporting.
How it works in Flow
Overview
Insights pulls live usage and billing data into a set of filterable tabs and a member-level table. Filters apply across every tab, and the Impact tab translates raw activity into time and money saved.
Key behaviors
Filters: Tabs can be filtered by date range, app (and app category), user, and team. The Team Members table also supports a status filter (Active/Trialing) and search by name or email.
User filter: Select multiple users at once — the filter popover stays open while you make selections. When more than one user is selected, the button label collapses to show the count (e.g., "3 users"). Up to 100 users at a time.
Team filter: Filtering by a specific team applies across all tabs, including Impact. The cost on the Impact tab is pro-rated to that team's share of total seats.
AI Prompt Quality card: Shows a multiplier (e.g., "2.2x") indicating how much longer your team's dictated AI prompts are compared to a typed baseline. The card only appears when your team's average AI prompt length exceeds that baseline.
Time Saved card: Shows total time your team has saved by dictating instead of typing. An info tooltip explains how savings are calculated against a typed baseline.
Money Saved card: Shows total minutes saved per month across the team (or filtered group), alongside net savings after subtracting your actual monthly Flow cost. Never displays below $0.
Salary-rate slider: The Money Saved card includes a slider that adjusts the hourly rate used to compute value saved. Net savings recalculate as you slide.
Flow team cost per month: Pulled directly from your actual billing, so the figure reflects negotiated discounts, custom contracts, or mixed billing schedules. Always shown in your billing currency.
Features used: The Impact tab includes a "Features used" chart showing how many of your users have used Dictionary, Snippets, Styles, and Transforms. Dictionary, Snippets, and Styles each show a user count alongside a secondary metric (e.g., number of entries or preferences set). Transforms shows a user count only, since usage is tracked as a simple yes/no.
Team members tab: Lists all members with name and email, status, role, department, joined date, total words dictated, lifetime average dictation speed (WPM), and last used date. The tab label shows the total member count.
Words window: Switch the table's words column between All time, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, This month, Last month, and This year. WPM and Last used always show lifetime values regardless of window.
WPM column: Displays each member's lifetime average dictation speed. Members who have never dictated show "—" and are pinned to the bottom when sorting by WPM in either direction.
Member status: Each member shows as Active or Trialing. Trialing members display their trial end date and remaining time.
Role column: Shows whether each member is an admin, member, IT admin, or superadmin.
Sorting and search: Sort the table by any column, filter members by status or department, and search by name or email.
Pagination: The table shows 25 members per page by default, and page size is configurable. The tab header count shows the total unfiltered member count, while the table footer reflects filtered and searched results before pagination.
CSV export: Every export includes a "Date" column and breaks activity down by day, sorted chronologically. Each row represents one day and dimension combination — exports never collapse to a single grand-total row.
Note: "Department" is the CSV column label for what the UI calls "team" — they refer to the same field.
Examples
Reading the AI Prompt Quality multiplier
Card shows: 2.2x
What it means: Your team's dictated AI prompts are, on average, 2.2 times longer than a typed baseline. Higher numbers mean richer, more detailed instructions to AI tools.
Filtering Impact by a single team
You do: Select the "Sales" team from the team filter.
Result: Every tab — including Impact — reflects only the Sales team. The Flow team cost figure is pro-rated to Sales' share of total seats, so Money Saved compares Sales' savings against Sales' portion of the bill.
Filtering by multiple users
You do: Open the user filter and check three team members. The popover stays open as you select each one.
Result: The filter button shows "3 users" and all tabs update to reflect only those three members' activity.
FAQs
How is the Flow team cost per month calculated?
The cost is drawn from your actual billing records, so it accounts for negotiated discounts, custom contracts, and mixed billing schedules (for example, yearly seats combined with a monthly platform fee). The figure is always shown in your billing currency. If your subscription is scheduled to cancel, the cost is based on your most recent invoice.
Why does the money saved figure look different than I expected?
Net savings are your team's value saved minus your actual monthly Flow cost, and the figure never displays below $0. If live billing data isn't available (for example, billing data is temporarily unavailable or there's no active subscription on record), the card shows gross value saved instead of net, and the Flow team cost line displays as "—".
How is Time Saved calculated?
Time savings compare your team's actual dictation speed against a typed baseline. Hover the info tooltip on the Time Saved card to see this explanation in-product.
Does "monthly" mean a calendar month?
No. Money Saved uses a trailing roughly four-week window for monthly minutes saved, not a calendar month.
Can I filter by more than one user at a time?
Yes. The user filter supports multi-select — open the popover and check as many users as you need (up to 100). The popover stays open while you select, and the button label collapses to "N users" when more than one is chosen.
Why does the Transforms bar in "Features used" only show a user count?
Unlike Dictionary, Snippets, and Styles — which also show a secondary metric like the number of entries or preferences a user has set — Transforms usage is recorded as a simple yes/no. The bar shows how many of your users have used Transforms, without an additional secondary count.
Limitations and notes
Insights is available to team admins only — individual users do not have access to team-wide data.
Cost and savings figures are shown in your billing currency. Organizations billed in non-USD currencies see their local currency reflected.
When a team filter is active, the displayed cost is pro-rated to that team's share of total seats, and Impact tab metrics reflect that team only.
Impact tab metrics (including cost and minutes saved) update on a short delay. Recently changed billing or usage may take a little while to appear.
The Team members table displays 25 members per page by default, and page size is configurable.
You can filter by up to 100 specific users at once. Start dates must be on or before the end date and cannot be in the future.
CSV exports always include a daily breakdown — one row per day per dimension combination, even when no dimensions are selected.
Very large CSV exports may be rejected with a message asking you to narrow filters (date range, user, or app).
