Available on: Mac, Windows

Connect your LinkedIn account to show Wispr Flow under the Apps section of your LinkedIn profile, and to claim your Top User trophy if you're a high-usage user. Takes about a minute.

How to connect your LinkedIn account

If you have access, an Add Wispr Flow to LinkedIn row appears in Settings → System → Extras. Connect from there, or from a Top User achievement notification if you receive one.

Connect from Settings

  1. Open Wispr Flow and go to Settings → System → Extras.

  2. Click Add Wispr Flow to LinkedIn.

  3. Sign in to LinkedIn in the browser window that opens and authorize Wispr Flow's access.

  4. Check the browser confirmation page: it shows "You're all set", confirms LinkedIn is connected, then redirects you back to Wispr Flow automatically.

  5. Confirm the row now shows a Disconnect button. Wispr Flow appears under the Apps section of your LinkedIn profile within seconds.

Connect from a Top User achievement notification

Users who have dictated 100,000 or more words lifetime and 20,000 or more in the last 30 days receive a You're a top user 🎉 notification in the bell list or status window.

  1. Click Unlock my trophy on the achievement card.

  2. Sign in to LinkedIn in the browser window that opens.

  3. Check the confirmation page: it shows "You're all set" and confirms LinkedIn is connected before redirecting you back to Wispr Flow.

  4. Return to Wispr Flow. The notification is dismissed automatically once you're connected.

Note: The notification is shown once per account, and connecting from either Settings or the notification dismisses it.

How to disconnect or reconnect

Disconnect your LinkedIn account

  1. Open Wispr Flow and go to Settings → System → Extras.

  2. Click Disconnect next to the LinkedIn row.

  3. Look for the "Removed from your LinkedIn profile" confirmation. Wispr Flow is removed from the Apps section of your profile.

Reconnect after your connection has expired

When a connection expires, the button in Settings → System → Extras changes to Reconnect.

  1. Click Reconnect next to the LinkedIn row.

  2. Sign in to LinkedIn in the browser window that opens.

  3. Return to Wispr Flow. The button changes back to Disconnect once the connection is restored.

FAQs

How quickly does Wispr Flow appear on my LinkedIn profile?

Within seconds of completing the connection. Your Top User trophy appears shortly after you return to Wispr Flow.

Where does the sign-in happen?

In your default system browser, where you sign in to LinkedIn directly. Wispr Flow never handles your LinkedIn password, so confirm you're signed in to the correct LinkedIn account before authorizing.

What if the confirmation page shows an error?

The page shows "Connection cancelled" if you declined authorization, or "Something went wrong" for an unexpected error. Both include a link to contact support at support@wisprflow.ai.

Why did the button change to "Reconnect"?

LinkedIn connections can expire over time. Click Reconnect and complete the sign-in flow to restore it.

Will disconnecting remove Wispr Flow from my LinkedIn profile?

Yes. After you disconnect, Wispr Flow no longer appears under the Apps section of your profile.

An achievement notification for high-usage users that invites you to showcase your Top User trophy on LinkedIn. Click Unlock my trophy to connect your account.
