If you need to sign into a different Wispr Flow account or hand your device to someone else, you can switch accounts in under a minute from the Account screen.
Warning: Signing out deletes all locally stored transcripts and audio files from your device. Your actual transcript text and audio recordings are never uploaded to Wispr servers — they exist only on your device.
Open the dashboard drawer and tap Account (or tap your profile card at the top).
Tap Sign out.
Confirm by tapping Sign Out in the dialog. Tap Cancel to abort.
Wait for the "You are signed out!" confirmation message.
Sign in with your new account using Google, Apple, Microsoft, SSO, or Email.
Note: Signing out automatically stops any active recording.
Signing out preserves app settings like bubble size and privacy mode. To clear everything — including preferences and cached data — uninstall and reinstall the app:
Uninstall Wispr Flow: go to Settings → Apps → Wispr Flow → Uninstall, or long-press the app icon and tap Uninstall.
Reinstall Wispr Flow from the Google Play Store.
Sign in with your new account.
Will I lose my transcription history?
Yes. Local transcripts and audio files are deleted when you sign out or uninstall the app. Only usage metadata (word counts, durations, timestamps) is sent to Wispr servers — your actual transcript text and audio recordings are never uploaded.
What happens if I lose network connectivity while signing out?
Sign-out works without a network connection. The app clears your local session regardless. The server-side session token is only invalidated when connectivity is available; without it, the token expires on its own. Sign back in once connectivity is restored.
Which sign-in methods are supported?
Google, Apple, Microsoft, SSO, or Email. SSO requires entering your work email to identify your provider. If your email is already linked to a different method, you'll be directed to use that method instead.
What happens if my session expires?
You'll see a "Your session has expired" toast notification and be redirected to the sign-in screen. Your local transcripts remain on the device — they are only removed when you explicitly sign out.
