Upcoming meetings in Notetaker on iOS

The Notetaker home screen lists your next calendar meetings, so you can see what's ahead without searching for the right event.

How the Upcoming section works

Overview

With a calendar connected, the Upcoming section lists your next 5 not-yet-ended meetings, soonest first.

Key behaviors

• Meeting cards: each card shows the title, a time subtitle (Today/Tomorrow • start – end), and up to 3–4 attendee photos with an overflow count (e.g. "+2"). Your own photo is excluded; initials appear when a photo isn't available.

• Cards are informational: clicking one does not open a draft or start a recording.

• Imminent meetings: a meeting starting within about 10 minutes moves to the imminent meeting row with the Start pill, and is not duplicated in Upcoming.

• Countdown labels: meetings starting within 2 hours show a live countdown rounded down to the minute (in 1h 15m, in 42 min), switching to Starting now under 60 seconds. Meetings further out show a descriptive label such as "Last meeting of the day", "Midnight meeting", or "Dawn patrol".

• Detail panel: the same countdown appears in the meeting's detail panel header — Today • 9:00 am • 1h • in 42 min — and disappears once the meeting starts.

• No calendar or offline: the section is hidden and no error appears. Your notes list and record button work as normal.

• Countdown text is displayed in English only.

• Notetaker is available on Mac only. Enterprise accounts are not yet supported.
