Manage billing, invoices and cancellation
Last updated: September 21, 2026
Available on: Desktop and the web admin portal for Wispr-billed subscriptions; Apple or Google subscription settings for purchases made through those stores. Team billing changes require an authorized admin.
Where you download invoices, update payment details or stop renewal depends on who bills you. Sign in with the account and provider that originally bought the subscription.
Open the right billing page
On Mac or Windows, open Settings → Plans and Billing. Flow identifies which store bills a mobile subscription and shows that store's instructions, even on a device that did not make the purchase.
Purchase | Where to manage it |
Individual Pro (desktop/web) | Manage subscription opens Stripe's billing portal. |
Team, Growth or Enterprise | Manage billing opens the admin portal; in Billing, select Manage Subscription (an unbilled team may show Add billing info). |
Apple App Store | iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Wispr Flow; Flow's Cancel or Resubscribe opens Apple's subscription sheet. |
Google Play | Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Wispr Flow, or Flow's Manage your Google Play subscription link when offered. |
Promotional or other mobile subscription | No store portal applies — contact support to change or end it. |
Note: A missing button can reflect a Free plan (no paid invoices or payment method), trial status, organization access or store billing. Store purchases cannot be managed through desktop Stripe billing. On iOS, Go to the desktop app to manage plan is informational — open desktop Flow yourself.
Team members can see billing information but cannot change it; ask your admin for invoices or changes.
Download invoices or receipts
Open the billing portal for your purchase from the table above.
Find Invoice History and select an invoice to download its PDF. Team admins use their organization's Billing page.
For Apple purchases, search your email for Apple's receipt or sign in to reportaproblem.apple.com with the purchasing Apple ID.
Flow's mobile apps have no invoice viewer. If you administer a team but pay for personal Pro yourself, your personal invoices stay in Manage subscription; the team's Billing page can be empty until the team has its own paid subscription. If a download fails, refresh the portal or try another browser.
Important: For an unexpected payment email, check the date and amount against your invoice history before opening any links in it. Contact support if the charge does not match.
Change company details or payment method
In the portal's billing-information section, update your name, address and billing email. Changes apply to future invoices, not invoices already issued. If you cannot enter a company name, address, billing email or phone yourself, send those details to support.
To replace a card, add the new payment method, set it as default, then remove the old card. Enterprise invoicing and purchase-order billing require a sales-assisted agreement — contact sales.
Important: Enter a VAT, GST or ABN number in the tax-ID field at checkout. Support cannot add or edit it afterward; contact support before your next renewal for options. See VAT, GST and tax on invoices.
Resolve a past-due payment
Individual desktop/web: select Update payment in Plans and Billing, then Continue to Payment. Complete payment in Stripe, then use Finished paying? Click to refresh if the dialog stays open.
Team: ask the billing admin to select Update Payment in the admin portal and update the card.
Refresh or reopen Flow before buying another subscription. For payment retries, access changes or a paid invoice that has not restored access, see payment-failure troubleshooting.
Cancel renewal or resubscribe
Open your billing provider from the table above. An authorized admin handles a team subscription.
Cancel with that provider: in Stripe for desktop/web, Cancel Subscription in Apple's sheet, Google's subscription settings for Play, or contact support for a promotional or other mobile subscription.
Confirm the provider shows the cancellation and an end date. Flow may show Canceling, Cancels, Canceled, Plan ends soon or Plan ends in N days.
Cancellation stops the next renewal. Paid access continues through the displayed billing-period end, then the account returns to Free with the free usage bar and upgrade prompts; your account and data are not deleted. There is no separate desktop/web auto-renew switch and no automatic prorated refund — contact support about refund requests, and Apple manages App Store refunds.
A pending cancellation appears in Plans and Billing on any signed-in device and clears when your plan changes, such as when you join a team. On Android, changes made in Google Play appear when you return to Flow, without force-quitting. If Flow still shows Renews, refresh Plans and Billing or quit and reopen Flow, waiting 10 seconds between attempts; a stale label does not undo a completed cancellation.
To reactivate before the end date, use the provider's Resubscribe action when offered; after expiry, subscribe again. After you subscribe or resubscribe, the plan pill and Account page show Pro.
Warning: Deleting your Flow account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription, and neither does signing out. Cancel separately with Apple or Google or billing continues.
Still need help?
Use Talk to support and select Billing if:
The portal will not open or an invoice is missing.
You cannot reach your team admin, or you were charged after cancelling.
Your plan shows Contact support about your subscription instead of a custom or legacy price.
Include your account email, billing provider, invoice number or date, platform and the exact error. For related changes, see team plans and seats, discounts and promo codes or restore a mobile subscription.
