Manage your billing: invoices, company details, payment method, and cancellation

Last updated: September 10, 2026

Available on: Mac, Windows, Web (admin.wisprflow.ai). iOS shows your plan but can't manage billing; Android shows the plan label only.

Find your invoices, add company details to them, change the card on file, ask about invoiced billing, or stop your subscription from renewing. Most billing tasks are self-serve.

Where to manage billing

How you subscribed

Where to manage it

Individual Pro (desktop or web)

Desktop app: Settings → Plans and Billing → Manage subscription, which opens the billing portal in your browser.

Team or Enterprise (admin)

admin.wisprflow.ai, or Settings → Plans and Billing → Manage billing in the desktop app.

App Store (iOS)

Apple handles it: iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.

Android

Not available in the Android app; use the desktop app or admin portal.

Download your invoices

  1. Open the Wispr Flow desktop app and click Settings in the sidebar.

  2. Click Plans and Billing under Account.

  3. Click Manage subscription to open the billing portal in your browser.

  4. Click the invoice under Invoice History to download the PDF.

Team and Enterprise admins download invoices from the billing section of the admin portal. For the full breakdown by plan type, including App Store receipts, see How do I download my Wispr Flow invoices?

Add your company details to invoices

Open the billing portal from Manage subscription, then use the billing information section to update the name, address, and billing email. Changes apply to invoices issued from that point on; already-issued invoices can't be changed.

If you can't set a company name, address, billing email, or phone number yourself, contact support with those details and we'll add them to your billing record for future invoices. For how tax works on Flow subscriptions, see VAT, GST & tax on Wispr Flow invoices.

Important: A VAT, GST, or ABN number can only be entered in the tax ID field at checkout. Support cannot add or edit a tax ID afterward. If you missed it, contact support before your next renewal for options.

Change the card on file

  1. Open the billing portal from Settings → Plans and Billing → Manage subscription.

  2. Go to the payment method section.

  3. Add the new card and set it as the default payment method.

  4. Remove the old card if you no longer need it.

Team and Enterprise admins update the card from the billing section of the admin portal. If a payment has already failed, click Update payment in the Payment past due banner on Plans and Billing to fix the card directly.

Switching from card to invoiced billing

Invoiced billing is Enterprise-only and set up through a sales-assisted agreement. Every other plan, including individual Pro and self-serve team checkout, is credit card only.

If your finance team requires invoicing or purchase-order billing, contact us at wisprflow.ai/talk-to-sales.

Cancel or stop auto-renewal

There's no separate auto-renew switch. Canceling stops the next renewal, and you keep paid features until the end of the current billing period.

Individual Pro on Mac or Windows

  1. Go to Settings → Plans and Billing.

  2. Click Manage subscription to open the billing portal.

  3. Cancel the subscription there.

  4. Check that your plan card reads Cancels {date} rather than Renews.

Note: If the card still says "Renews," click the refresh icon in the Plans and Billing page header, or quit and reopen the app. The cancellation itself is unaffected by the stale label.

Subscribed through the App Store

Cancel on your iPhone in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Wispr Flow → Cancel Subscription. Wispr cannot cancel or refund an App Store purchase.

Team or Enterprise

Cancel from the billing section of the admin portal as an admin, or contact support. Team, Business, and Enterprise plans never show a Cancel option on iOS.

Android

The Android app has no cancel or billing controls. Cancel from the desktop app or the admin portal.

Important: Deleting your Wispr Flow account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel those with Apple or Google separately, or billing continues after the account is gone.

FAQs

Why don't I see "Manage subscription"?

Free and Basic plans have no invoices or payment method, so the button doesn't appear. App Store subscribers see "You can manage subscription via Apple" instead. Team members without admin access route through their team's billing flow.

Can I manage billing in the Android app?

No — Android has no purchase, cancel, or invoice controls. Use the desktop app or admin.wisprflow.ai. If the plan label looks out of date, sign out and back in, since it refreshes on sign-in.

Do I get a refund for the rest of the period when I cancel?

Cancellation doesn't issue a prorated refund for unused time. You keep paid features until the period ends, then move to the free plan with your data intact. Contact support if you think your situation warrants a review.

Is an email about my Wispr payment legitimate?

Receipts and card-expiry notices for individual subscriptions are sent by our payment processor, so they may not come from a wisprflow.ai address. Confirm the email went to the address on your Flow account and that the amount and date match an expected charge. If anything looks off, don't click links in it — open your invoice history from the desktop app and contact support.

Still stuck?

Contact support with your account email if an expected invoice is missing, you need company details added, or you can't reach your team admin.

  • Desktop: Click Help in the sidebar → Talk to support → select Billing as the Request Type.

  • iOS: Tap the menu → Talk to SupportReport an Issue tab → choose Billing.
