Flow plans and what's included

Choose a Flow plan by dictation allowance, meeting features and team controls, then buy or claim it on your platform.

Business and Enterprise details
Business: Roles are Member and Admin only. Support is priority support, not a dedicated customer success manager. Choosing the bundle with unlimited Notetaker adds it to the plan. Billing is card, monthly or annual, as a single team, on standard web terms with no platform fee, volume discounts or seat minimum.
Enterprise: Sold as Dictation, Notetaker or both — Dictation alone excludes Notetaker. SCIM requires SSO first. Enterprise is sales-led with negotiated volume rates, custom legal terms, and invoice or PO billing; new business is billed annually, existing monthly accounts are grandfathered, and payment terms are 14 days unless contracted otherwise.
Organization controls: On Business, dictation cloud storage and local dictation history stay individual settings that admins cannot enforce. An applicable signed HIPAA BAA separately locks model improvement and dictation cloud storage off.
SSO, domains and BAA: Both plans include SAML SSO, set up by an administrator in the Admin Portal, and a standard HIPAA BAA accepted there by an organization administrator. Multiple email domains are attached manually by support without DNS verification; auto-add by domain is on by default. Custom commercial and legal terms are handled through the Enterprise agreement, not the BAA.
Note: Annual USD billing saves 20% on Pro. Currency follows your connection's region and defaults to USD; each of the 24 supported currencies has fixed prices rather than exchange-rate conversions, so prices in the same currency can differ between users. Existing subscribers keep their original price and currency.
Warning: Changing billing currency cancels your subscription with a prorated refund, then replaces it at the new currency's list price, keeping your plan, seats and discounts. Unsupported currencies are rejected.
Free allowance and trials
On Flow Free, the dictation allowance resets weekly — on desktop, Sunday at 12 a.m. PT — and Notetaker isn't limited. As you approach the limit, select Upgrade to Pro to open Plans and Billing.
Access reverts after a 3-day grace period. On iOS, enterprise membership, student status, referrals or a previous mobile trial don't by themselves withhold a trial.
Claim the free Student plan
The free Student plan is available on Mac, Windows and iOS, and is claimed on Mac or Windows. Student plans can also be purchased on iOS (App Store) and desktop (card) at $7.50/month or $72/year; they aren't sold on Android, but a Student subscription bought elsewhere is honored there.
Important: Before claiming, active App Store Pro subscribers must cancel and wait for the subscription to expire. Pro trial users must wait for the trial to expire.
Open Flow on Mac or Windows.
Go to Settings → Plans and Billing.
Select Claim student plan. An active free Student plan then shows as Free on Mac, Windows and iOS.
On iOS, Claim for $0 only opens Claim on desktop instructions; Explore plan opens paid options. Active App Store Student subscribers manage in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions instead of claiming; turning off renewal for a weekly or yearly Student subscription returns you to the free-plan claim path.
Promo codes
Enter a promo code in Settings → Plans and Billing on desktop. A rejection message names the reason — an active subscription, a team or enterprise account, a student plan, an ended offer, a code at its redemption limit, or a promo already applied. Unrecognized codes show Code not valid.
Note: If you claimed a promo on the web while Flow was open, open the Flow hub — the promo is picked up without restarting the app.
Purchase and manage a plan
Your subscription syncs across devices, but where you can buy it depends on the platform. Pro Monthly and Pro Annual are available on desktop (card), iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play); iOS also offers weekly Pro. Desktop prices appear in Settings → Plans and Billing, where the Pro card's button reads Select plan. Team admins buy monthly or annual card subscriptions on the Billing page, where an active or trialing subscription switches in place instead of opening checkout. Enterprise requires a sales contract rather than self-serve checkout. All team users, including admins, use team billing so one payment covers all seats; solo users use personal checkout.
Card billing: Desktop's Manage subscription opens billing management; team and Enterprise admins use Manage billing, and past-due teams use the billing portal.
App Store: On iOS Plans, Cancel or Resubscribe opens Apple's Manage Subscriptions sheet. Card-billed iOS users manage on desktop.
Google Play: Manage your subscription and change its billing cycle in the Play Store. Flow's Plan page shows which store your subscription came from and when a cancelled subscription ends.
Android purchases: A purchase unlocks Pro as soon as it completes; if it doesn't appear — for example after reinstalling or switching devices — use Restore purchases on the Plan page.
Note: If Android confirmation is delayed, it catches up in the background within a few minutes — no restart needed. Plan changes made elsewhere, such as cancelling Pro on desktop, reach Android within about 5 minutes of dictating, and new limits apply the next time you press to dictate rather than mid-dictation.
Changes, cancellation and payment
For card subscriptions billed through Stripe, upgrades take effect immediately and downgrades at the end of the period. Your data is preserved, and Pro-only features reactivate if you upgrade again.
Desktop Pro shows “Renews {date}” or “Cancels {date}”. Past-due individuals keep paid status; Update payment under Payment past due opens the billing summary. Canceled, unpaid or expired subscriptions return to Free. On iOS, canceled, unpaid and past-due App Store plans show Canceled, the end date and Resubscribe.
Team Upcoming charges lists renewal and prorated new-seat charges separately, billed on their listed dates in the invoice currency. Renewal date ends the subscription period; extended terms can make payment due later.
Team billing precautions
Warning: If you already pay for Pro and join a team that has no billing, you become the payer. Review your billing before confirming so you aren't charged twice. In Settings → Team, Accept Invite makes you an admin and uses your billing information for the team; Decline rejects the invitation.
Eligible first-time team creators and joiners without an active personal subscription get a 14-day team trial, including Free users and teams without billing. Longer existing trials are preserved, except where an organization disables trials and bills joiners immediately. Desktop trial teams without billing use Add billing info: annual billing, $0 today, charged after the trial.
Important: Once you've used your team trial, creating or rejoining a team without billing gives you 24 hours to add billing before the team is disbanded.
If your email domain adds you to an enterprise and you're asked to choose a team, pick one before entering Flow; you keep dictation access and aren't subject to the Free weekly dictation limit while your team assignment is pending. If your domain is handled by our sales team, creating a team shows a talk to sales banner instead of completing setup.

After paying, select Finished paying? Click to refresh if it appears, then check your plan. On iOS, Retry reloads after “Couldn't load plans”. On Android, try Restore purchases first.
Contact support with your platform, device, purchase source and the steps you tried if:
Your paid plan is still missing after refreshing or restoring purchases.
“Contact support about your subscription” replaces the price on your active card-billed plan.
iOS shows “Subscription Linked to Another Account” and signing into the Flow account tied to that Apple ID subscription doesn't resolve it.
