How do I download my Wispr Flow invoices?

Last updated: August 19, 2026

Available on: Mac, Windows, iOS, Web (admin.wisprflow.ai)

Need an invoice for accounting or expenses? Where you find it depends on how you subscribed — as an individual, a Team or Enterprise admin, or through the App Store on iOS.

How to download invoices

Individual Pro subscribers

Use this if you subscribed to Flow Pro on desktop or web.

  1. Open the Wispr Flow desktop app and click Settings in the sidebar.

  2. Click Plans and Billing under Account.

  3. Click Manage subscription to open the billing portal in your browser.

  4. Find the invoice under Invoice History and click to download the PDF.

Note: Apple handles invoicing for App Store purchases, so no Manage subscription button appears. See "Subscribed through Apple (iOS)".

Team and Enterprise admins

Use this if you're an admin or superadmin on a Team or Enterprise plan.

  1. Open the Wispr Flow desktop app and click Settings in the sidebar.

  2. Click Plans and Billing under Account.

  3. Click Manage billing to open the Wispr admin portal at admin.wisprflow.ai.

  4. Open the billing section to view and download invoices.

Note: Billing access in the admin portal is limited to admins, superadmins, and IT Admins. Without an admin role, ask your team admin for a copy of the invoice.

Team and Enterprise cards show a seat count instead of a price (for example, "5 seats", or "3 active · 2 trialing" during team trials).

Enterprise IT Admins

IT Admins manage billing exclusively from the web admin portal — the desktop app is not available to IT Admins.

  1. Go to admin.wisprflow.ai and sign in.

  2. Open the billing section to view and download invoices.

Subscribed through Apple (iOS)

Apple — not Wispr — issues receipts for App Store subscriptions.

  1. Search your email for receipts from Apple.

  2. Or visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID to view purchase history.

  3. Manage the subscription in your iPhone's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.

FAQs

I don't see "Manage subscription" or "Manage billing"

What the Plans and Billing page shows depends on your plan and how you subscribed:

  • Free or Basic: Upgrade to Pro plus your remaining weekly word count. Free plans have no invoices.

  • Trialing individual: A trial banner with days remaining and an Upgrade to Pro option; paid trials show Manage subscription and Explore features.

  • Trialing team: Without billing set up, an "Add billing info" button; with billing, the trial end date plus Manage and Explore buttons (Enterprise omits the summary line).

  • Subscribed through Apple: Desktop shows "You can manage subscription via Apple"; iOS shows a Cancel or Resubscribe button that opens Apple's subscription sheet.

  • Team or Enterprise on iOS: Your seat count and a prompt to manage from the desktop app.

My payment failed / I see a Payment past due banner

Click Update payment in the banner to open the payment summary and update your card. This banner appears only for individual (non-team) subscriptions that are past due.

My Pro card shows "Contact support about your subscription" instead of a price

Your subscription is on a custom or legacy price the app can't resolve. Contact support for invoice details.

I subscribed on iOS — how do I get my invoices?

It depends on how you paid:

  • Through Apple: See "Subscribed through Apple (iOS)" above.

  • Individual subscriber: Open the desktop app and go to Settings → Plans and Billing → Manage subscription.

  • Team or Enterprise: Manage billing in the desktop app, or use the Contact us link below your plan card.

Important: The iOS "Go to desktop app to manage plan" button is not functional. Open the desktop app directly.

I canceled my Flow Pro subscription — why does the card still show "Renews"?

The card should read "Cancels {date}". If it still shows "Renews," click the refresh icon in the Plans & Billing page header to force a sync. If that doesn't work, close and reopen the app.

Note: The refresh button has a short cooldown; pressing it too quickly shows "Please wait a moment before syncing again." If sync fails, you may be asked to sign in again or told nothing was changed — your current access is unaffected.

I canceled my subscription — when does it actually end?

Access to all paid features continues until the end of your current billing period, with no further charges. Your card shows "Cancels {date}" with that period-end date, when cancellation completes automatically.

On iOS, a cancelled plan card shows "Plan ends soon" or "Plan ends in N days" instead of a renewal date.

I got an email about my Wispr payment — is it legit?

Receipts, payment confirmations, and card-expiry notices for individual subscriptions come from our third-party payment processor, not directly from Wispr. To verify an email:

  • Account email: It should be sent to the address on your Wispr Flow account.

  • Amount and date: Should match a charge you'd expect from your Flow Pro subscription.

Warning: If the charge is unexpected or the amount doesn't match, don't click links in the email. Check your real invoice history in the desktop app under Settings → Plans and Billing → Manage subscription, and contact support if anything still doesn't add up.

The invoice won't download

Refresh the page or try a different browser. If it still fails, contact support with your account email.

The billing portal won't open or I see an error

If you see "Unable to open checkout" or "There was a problem opening the payment page," quit and reopen the app, then try again. If the error persists, click Contact us in the error notification or contact support with your account email.

Limitations and notes

  • Invoices for App Store purchases are issued by Apple, not Wispr, and live in your Apple ID purchase history.

  • Viewing Team or Enterprise billing requires an admin, superadmin, or IT Admin role.

  • Enterprise IT Admins manage billing only at admin.wisprflow.ai; the desktop app is not available to them.

  • The manage-plan buttons on iOS are not functional — use the desktop app.

  • Canceled individual subscriptions run until the end of the current billing period rather than ending immediately.

  • Monthly Pro, Team, and Enterprise subscribers may see a "Save with annual" button alongside Manage subscription or Manage billing when annual savings are available.

Still stuck?

Reach out to support if:

  • You're not an admin, need an invoice, and can't reach your team admin.

  • An expected invoice is missing from the billing portal or admin portal.

  • You subscribed through Apple and need help locating your receipt.

On desktop: Click Help in the sidebar → Talk to support, select Billing as the Request Type, then describe your issue and submit. Include your account email and a screenshot if relevant.

On iOS: Tap the menu → Talk to Support, select the Report an Issue tab, then choose Billing. The iOS support sheet is text-only — no attachments.

The bottom of the Plans and Billing page also holds a "Plans and billing FAQ" link and a "Questions about billing? Contact us" link, which emails enterprise@wisprflow.ai for team and business plans and support@wisprflow.ai for individual plans.

Most billing questions are resolved in one reply.

Tip: For a billing discount (education, student, non-profit, military, senior, or accessibility), select Billing as the request type in the desktop app — a Discount Request option appears. Attach a verification document. This flow is desktop-only.
